Sam's expedition was full of excitement, and he returned home a braver adventurer.
Sam's Daily Routine
Sam starts/begins/wakes up his day at six thirty. He quickly/briskly/slowly gets dressed and makes/eats/prepares a quick bite to eat. After breakfast, Sam heads/goes/rushes to work. His job is designing websites, which he really likes.
During his break, Sam listens to music. When his workday is finished, he goes to the gym/plays basketball/watches TV for a while. In the evening, Sam eats dinner and spends time with his family or friends. Before bed, he gets ready for sleep. Finally, Sam goes to bed at around midnight.
The Mystery of Sam

Young Sam/Sammy/Shaun was a curious/adventurous/determined boy who loved/dreamed about/was obsessed with treasure. He spent his days reading/exploring/dreaming about lost cities/fortunes/hoards. One day, while raking/searching/exploring in the attic/garden/woods, Sam found/discovered/stumbled upon an old map/journal/letter that hinted at a hidden treasure/fortune/secret. Sam Learns a Lesson
Sam was/had been/went a pretty careless/reckless/thoughtless kid. He often ignored/disregarded/failed to listen his/her/their parents' advice/instructions/warnings. One day, Sam decided/chose/wanted to climb/scale/go up the tallest/biggest/highest tree in the yard/garden/park. He didn't/couldn't/wasn't able to see/realize/understand the danger/risk/peril he was in. As he reached/got to/climbed up to the top, the branch/limb/twig broke/snapped/fell. Sam plummeted/fell/crashed to the ground with a loud/sharp/painful thud/sound/crash.
- Fortunately/By chance, Sam wasn't/didn't get/sustained any serious/major/critical injuries.
- But, he learned a valuable lesson/teaching/truth: always listen/heed/pay attention to guidance/advice/warnings from trusted/reliable/responsible people.
From/After/That day on, Sam became much more cautious/careful/thoughtful. He understood/realized/learned the importance/value/significance of being safe/secure/protected.
Sam's New Friend
Sam was experiencing a little down. He wished to have a new buddy to play with. One day, while he was playing in the yard, he noticed something different. It was a little creature with bright feathers. Sam carefully walked over to the creature and spoke, "Hello! What's your name?" The creature laughed and answered Sam, "You can call me Lily!" And so, Sam made a new companion. They spent the rest of the day talking together.
Sam was so happy to have found a new friend. He knew that he and Lily would be great pals forever.
